Andy Hardy wins Bronze Medal in National Finals
Andy Hardy, proprietor of Premier Carpet and Flooring Service came third as overall UK Champion of the NICF Floorcovering Fitter of the Year 2001, competition held in Harrogate. To become the national bronze medal winner Andy competed against 11 other regional finalists over two days, where each had to complete four tasks and fit different areas with carpet, vinyl, laminate and natural floorcovering.
In addition to being overall bronze medal winner, Andy was third in the Carpet Fitter Class Trophy and second in the Vinyl Fitter Class Trophy. When asked what impact this award will have on the future Andy says: “ I hope that my success will influence our business at Premier Carpets in a number of ways. Hopefully it will build more confidence in local people to use our range of high quality services, knowing that we will do a first class job for them with their chosen floor coverings." |
